This is just an older version of DD-WRT that is smaller in size, the OEM firmware won't let you flash directly to newer builds because the file size exceeds a limit in the OEM firmware for flash size. Once you've flashed the older initial build you can then flash to whatever DD-WRT build you want. Brainslayer's builds are the official builds but lots of people prefer Kong's builds.
